EastEnders: Elaine Spirals After Linda’s Shocking Reveal Upends The Queen Vic
Linda shocks her mum by saying she is going to sell the Queen Vic. As distraught as she’s been following her split with George, Elaine cannot come to terms with the news. It gets worse when the police turn up to question her about selling booze to kids in the village.
Desperate to prevent her daughter, Elaine, appeals to Linda to change her mind. Their exchange becomes a furious argument. A hurting and tearful Linda storms out and finds solace in George. When Elaine catches them together, she believes they are conspiring against her.
She goes to the bank to obtain a loan and buy Linda out. But the meeting is unsuccessful. In desperation, she asks Johnny to be a silent partner. He declines, which makes Elaine feel lonelier than ever.
Elaine Collapses Twice as Tensions Erupt Between Mother and Daughter
Overburdened, Elaine loses her temper. She ejects the pub drinkers in a rage and then attacks Linda. But the stress becomes too much. Elaine suddenly faints, surprising everybody at The Vic.
Later, she maintained it was merely a panic attack. But Linda is guilty and admits to Johnny that she stayed purely for Elaine. Johnny does not mince words. He tells his mum that she still has to walk away.
