EastEnders spoilers suggest that the couple might face another plot twist soon. In the recent episode, Peter proposes to Lauren in the presence of family. But she turned down his proposal and walked out. Peter was devastated by this. But it seems that she will finally reveal why she refused his proposal. She reveals that she fears that she is the one who attacked Peter’s mother, Cindy, previously during Christmas.
She has a painkiller addiction, which has caused her memory loss, and that is why she cannot remember if she attacked her or not. Whereas Peter assures her that she is not a killer, and she isn’t the one who is the culprit. Later Kathy, who overheard the conversation, confronted her and revealed that she is the one who attacked her own daughter-in-law.
Peter Learns The Horrific Truth!
In the upcoming episode, Peter will go visit his partner, who will be spending her night at Zack’s. Even Lauren knows that if she reveals the truth to Peter, he will be heartbroken. But she will make a tough decision to not keep it a secret for her partner. Lauren unwillingly will tell everything to Peter.
Peter will be devastated to know that her granny attacked her mother. He will later confront his grandmother about what made her take such a bizarre step. But soon he will discover that his father Ian already knows the truth and decided to hide it.
Soon after which he will be seen discussing his family matter with newcomer Ross. Later he will inform Kathy and Ian that he is cutting the ties with them. He tells them that he does not hate them, but he also cannot forgive them for what they did and does not trust them anymore, Peter added. He also says that “My focus now is to be Lauren, Louie and the baby.” On the other hand, Lauren, who has been having her own struggles, finds the proposal ring. It will make her realise that she should have said yes!
Later she will see Peter at the Square, where he will inform her about what happened. Peter will tell her that she is his future, and he wants that now. Lauren, who’s happy to hear that, will then propose to him in front of the local residents. Peter will accept it in a heartbeat. The two will then celebrate their engagement.
