Soap bosses have now teased that viewers might not have seen the last of rapist Dean even though his final scenes for the courtroom trial aired this week. What will happen then? Matt Di Angelo Will Return As Dean Again? Read HERE!
EastEnders spoilers reveal that Matt Di Angelo has officially left the BBC programme, with the bosses giving him farewell in a sweet clip to make the end of his time as Dean Wicks. In a video shared on the official page of the soap, Di Angelo can be seen telling the camera, ‘This is it. Dean’s final scene shot. Signed. Sealed. Delivered. It is done.’ Regular viewers know that this week’s show revolved around Dean’s trial for Keanu’s murder.
During this week, we saw Dean finally admitted that he raped Linda 10 years ago which threw her false testimony of witnessing Dean dragging Keanu’s body into the cafe into doubt. With a mistrial having been declared, the evil character is still facing an uncertain future, but the social media post confirmed his last scenes. In this clip, even though Matt said goodbye to said goodbye to the cast and crew, the exec producer dropped hints on Dean’s future in the Square.
Chris Clenshaw thanked Matt for giving them one of the most vile characters in the history of soap. He then teased, ‘Even though I think Dean’s finally got his comeuppance, I have a strange feeling that this won’t be the last we ever see of Dean, or in fact you.’ Will we see Dean again for a retrial? Or will he be appearing in some scenes from jail for raping Linda? We have to wait and watch.

The recent episode saw Linda confessing her crime to Keanu’s sister, Bernie, after failing to convince police with her truth. Later, Bernie also learned about the involvement of other women in covering up the murder. A heartbroken sister then rushed to speak to her mother, Karen, but wasn’t able to tell her about Keanu’s real killer.
