Michael French Is Making A Bombshell RETURN
EastEnders has always had arguably the most talented star cast. With soap gearing up for its 40th anniversary, they are pulling all the racks and bringing the legendary characters back to take drama up a notch. Viewers saw Jane Beale making her iconic comeback this week, and now another Beale relative is all set to return for a short stint.
As per reports, Ian Beale’s half-brother David Wicks will definitely create havoc in Walford. Even though the exact details of his arrival remain hidden, it’s been teased that David will come face-to-face with former flame Cindy for the first time in decades.
Long time viewers know that David and Ian spent years as sworn enemies and fought over Cindy’s love. It will be shocking to see David and Cindy meeting since the last time he was in Square she was still thought to be dead.
Amid a series of major returns on the BBC soap, EastEnders spoilers confirm that the son of Pat Butcher and Pete Beale will create issues for Ian and Cindy soon. While discussing his character’s return, Michael French said, “I feel honoured to be asked to reprise the role of David Wicks once again. It may only be a brief visit, but we know from his past that David never fails to create a lot of drama in a very short time.”
As honoured as French might be, EastEnders boss Chris Clenshaw is also thrilled to welcome him back. He said, “David Wicks is undoubtedly one of EastEnders’ most beloved rogues, and we are thrilled to welcome the talented Michael French back to the legendary role as we lead up to the show’s 40th anniversary. David’s character was never shy of drama during his previous stints, and I can assure you this return will be no different.” David left Walford after his relationship with Carol broke down in 2014. We can be assured to have our heads spinning with chaos after this iconic return.
