She said, ‘As of right now, the best way to explain Nicola is cornered.’ Doddington added, “She’s like an animal caught in a corner and lashing out to try to protect herself.” Even though she is doing anything, she cannot escape the ‘inevitable landslide’ as her secrets are unfolding.
Further, she added that she is scared that if her son gets to know the truth, he will go “off the rails”. Laura also said that she wants to protect her son, and after all, after coming to Walford, he seems to be back on the track. She knows how upset he was about his girlfriend. The soap star further added that she will be shocked when Teddy tries to take matters into his own hands.
“Nicola thought this was her show and she was the puppet master, so she wasn’t expecting Teddy to take control like this,” she elaborated. The actress further added that she is playing with fire and might burn herself. “It’s exciting to see them in such jeopardy,” she added.

In the upcoming episode, an intruder will be seen entering Walford, but it seems that Nicola will identify who this person is, and tension might just grow bigger and bigger. Despite all the drama, the actress added that she is quite similar to her character. Laura said that ‘Nicola is complex and challenging, and she also loves to have challenges in her work.’
She further added, “There is so much going on with Nicola, and I love picking apart the psychology of a character like that.” Well, it will be interesting to see what her next step will be.
