EastEnders Spoilers suggest that several Walford locals are left fearing for their livelihoods after it was revealed that Bridge Street Market and Square Gardens are at risk of redevelopment. This led to a worried resident and fruit trader, Martin Fowler, taking action when he got the news from market inspector Honey Mitchell next week. They will quickly arrange a crisis meeting at the Pub along with Billy Mitchell and other market traders.
Regular viewers will witness council head Ian Beale also joining them at The Vic to reveal the plans of what market will be replaced with. It will obviously leave the traders heartbroken and things will get worse as soon as they get to know that Junior will be handling the contract for the redevelopment. It looks like Junior might be walking on thin ice after locals learn about these new plans.

Along with Junior, Ian might also have to deal with some heat from Martin and the rest of the trader’s family. Long-time viewers know that Ian has a longstanding history with the market as his father, Peter Beale originally ran the fruit and veg stall, before his cousin Martin Fowler took over. Earlier in 2014, the whole community joined together and campaigned to save it after plans to close it down were revealed.
Then, we saw it merging with Spring Lane Market which also introduced new into the BBC soap including Pam Coker and Donna Yates. For more such EastEnders spoilers & updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily! What do you think might happen next? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section.
