EastEnders Confirms Anna Knight’s Exit After Just One Year
After last week’s reports that Molly Rainford, who plays Anna Knight, would be leaving Walford later this year, the BBC has now confirmed the actors’ exits. She left less than a year after the Knight family arrived in Walford, bringing plenty of drama with them.
Molly arrived at the soap in 2023 with Colin Salmon as George Knight, Francesca Henry as Gina, and Harriet Thorpe as Elaine Peacock. They joined the soap to support Linda Carter, who was continuing to struggle from the devastating loss of her husband, Mick.
After Mick’s tragic departure on Christmas Day, Elaine returned to help Linda manage The Vic. However, the support quickly turned into disagreement.
The Vic’s Future Is in the Balance as Family Tensions Come to a Boil
Linda has been having a difficult time since Elaine split from George and started acting out. The chaos came between the mother and daughter.
Linda is exhausted and has shared that The Vic no longer feels like home to her.
Elaine is shocked by her daughter’s decision. She has also made The Vic her home, and the altercation might further break off familial relations.
As the Knight family falls apart and The Vic’s existence is in jeopardy, viewers are left wondering if Anna’s departure will result in even more turmoil. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
