EastEnders: Bobby Brazier Speaks Out About His Departure
Speaking to a source at the National Film Awards, Bobby Brazier admitted he has “mixed feelings” about this change.
“Walford has been my first sort of real job, and I have learnt a lot there,” he said. “It feels like home.” Brazier, who played Freddie Slater, thanked the cast for their support and spoke fondly of the bond they shared.
“There is quite a family feeling among the cast. I am going to miss it, and I am extremely thankful,” he added. He called the experience “life-changing” and said the show gave him more than just a role; it gave him belonging.
He also complimented his on-screen family: “I am so happy to be a Slater. I would not want to be in any other family.”
“And Lacey Turner I am always singing her praises. She is incredible. Nanny Jean Gillian Wright, Yeah, I am very lucky.”
Bobby Brazier Looks Ahead To What Is Next
When asked about the future, Brazier remained honest. “I am not sure. That is how this industry actually operates,” he stated. In 2022, Bobby became Freddie on the soap opera. During his tenure on the show, he addressed dark plots, family conflict, and ADHD.
