The actor who plays the handsome Johnny Carter, recently opened up about his incredible bond with Kellie, who is a fan-favorite with her iconic portrayal of Linda. EastEnders actor Charlie Suff has now opened up about his real-life bond with the amazing actress and his reel-life mother, Kellie Bright. Regular viewers know Suff took over the role of Linda’s son, Johnny, earlier this year and has been a part of several intriguing storylines ever since. He was also an integral part of the cover-up of Keanu Taylor’s murder. After Linda confessed the truth about killing Keanu, lawyer Johnny stepped up to protect his mother and her friends.
On the contrary, in real life, Bright is the one who has helped him settle into the role of Johnny Carter. While speaking to Inside Soap Magazine, Charlie said, “She really looks out for me. Early on, I remember a couple of times where I’d have a little moment in a scene that I was unsure about.” He also went on to highlight that he felt quickly comfortable on the set, and that is all because of the Linda actress.

The soap star also added that even though there’s a motherly aspect, the duo is also friends and they giggle all the time on the set. He also spoke about his role in The Six storyline and working with legends of the soap opera who play Sharon, Stacey, and Suki. He said, “I was so excited! Those women are such titans of this show, and a lot of them have been in it for so long. You watch them, and you just think, ‘well, you guys are amazing!'”
It seems like the actor is really excited about his character’s development and is glad that his character, Johnny, isn’t a little boy anymore.
