EastEnders Danny Reveals He Had A Tough Childhood!
EastEnders actor Danny Dyer will soon appear on an ITV show called The Assembly. He will speak about his childhood and how it was “drug-fueled escapades.” Danny will then be encouraged to open up about when his wife, Jo, took over all the accounts. He said his wife controls everything now and added that she did kick him out.
Danny then added, ‘that she deserves better’. Dyer elaborated that he had issues because, at times, he used to go out and take drugs and return home for three or more days. “I never wanted the party to end. She had every right to throw me out,” said the soap star.
The actor also revealed that he lost so many roles and how the therapy helped him out to overcome his toxic coping mechanism. Dyer admitted that it took him some time to learn what he was doing wrong. Even after doing everything, he was unhappy, he added. “I learned that it was every strong male role model I had either left me or died,” he described.
The soap star elaborated that he was really close to his dad, but he died when he was nine, then he added that he got close to his granddad, and he got cancer. And then he became close to a famous playwright named Harold Pinter, and he loved him very much, but he also got cancer and died.’
Danny Opens Up About Trying To Be A Better Father
Further, Danny dived deeper and talked about his relationship with his father. He said that he loved his father even though he wasn’t a very good dad. But he did not know how to do it. He said that he doesn’t understand how men sleep knowing that they do not have a good relationship with their children. Then he also spoke about how he has been trying to be a better parent.
The actor added that he has caused pain to his children too. But now he is trying to be there for them. Danny also revealed that he discovered that his father has a secret family, but he’s in touch with them as he thinks he should get another shot.
