Will Joe Return To EastEnders Permanently?
Former EastEnders icon Joe has now opened up about the terms in which he might consider returning to his Mickey Miller role full-time. Long-time viewers know that the actor first appeared on the show in 2003 and stayed until 2008 before making a brief return in 2011. Last week, Mickey once again came to Walford for a guest appearance and bumped into some of his favorite residents.
Viewers saw Mickey joining the saucy charity calendar shoot to raise awareness of the Bridge Street market’s closure. When Mo didn’t have a photographer, he jumped on to the opportunity and clicked pictures like a pro. We also got to know that Miller now owns his group of luxury, eco-friendly B&Bs in the Cotswolds. Ever since then, fans have been requesting to see more of him and Jole hasn’t ruled it out.
While speaking to The Mirror, he said, ‘I love that place. I have the most amazing fond memories of being on EastEnders. I was super honoured to be asked back. It felt like home.’ He also highlighted if the soap bosses want him to return then it would be something that has to think about since he has a young family to look after right now. Fans know that Joe is married to presenter and singer Stacey Solomon, and the duo has three kids together.
