The Footballers’ Wives star Laila Rouass has split from her fiance, Ronnie O’Sullivan, after being together for 147 months. It’s believed that the pair haven’t been able to spend much time together recently as Sullivan, who is a snooker legend, has been taking part in competitions abroad. A source spoke to The Sun and said, “They have been going in different directions.”
This comes just hours after the sports star crashed out of the English Open and faced criticism for a first-round defeat. The insider also explained that Ronnie spends months on the road travelling to countries such as China and Saudi Arabia for big-money competitions. As for Laila, she has been concentrating on her career. There is a lot of love between them, but they have been going in different directions and have conceded it is over,” the source said.

Even though those close to the couple thought that it was a blip similar to their brief split in 2022, it’s different this time. This news got confirmed when EastEnders star Laila was spotted at This Morning’s show, and she was wearing her engagement ring. The couple met each other in 2013 before Ronnie popped the question a year later. The duo split in 2022 but found a way to each other again, with Ronnie agreeing that he needed to ‘behave.’
However, they never got married, and friends believe they have now broken up after 12 years of being together. We hope both of them get through this difficult time with patience and hope.
