EastEnders Icon Louisa Is NOT Leaving Walford
Louisa Lytton, best known to portray the troublesome Ruby Allen on EastEnders, has revealed that her character will perish in the dramatic explosion at The Vic. The BBC programme is setting the stage to kill off several characters in the coming week as a part of its four-decade milestone. This will happen after a shocking fire catches up to The Vic, putting many lives at risk.
There have been rumors about Ruby losing her life in a tragic fashion after issues between her, Martin, and Stacey grow. She returned to Walford last November after being away for three years. And given that she’s only here for a ‘prolonged stint,’ viewers thought she might get killed off. However, the talented actress has denied all the rumors while appearing on Morning Live recently.
She said, “It’s really hard for me to say without giving the whole game away. I can’t really say too much but we’ve got some lovely stuff coming up. It’s great. I love working with Lacey and James. I couldn’t ask for better partnerships in that sense – I’m really fortunate.” When asked about her upcoming theatre, the popular star noted that even though her show is starting doesn’t mean her soap character is dying.
Could Lytton be providing a red herring to provide an added shock to viewers, or is this indeed the truth and Ruby won’t perish after all? Only time will tell.
