Sean Maguire, who is known for his roles on Grange Hill and EastEnders, recently opened up about his loss. The actor also has a successful pop music career and resides in LA. He shared that he has been feeling sad due to the death of his brother. When the Scottish singer, Lewis Capaldi, posted something on Instagram, Sean replied that one of the singer’s songs made him emotional. He said that he was a fan of his, adding that he doesn’t like talking about his grief, but he has been having a tough time lately.
The former EastEnders star shared that he lost his brother six months ago. Though he has been trying to stay strong, when he dropped his kids off at school and played Someone You Love, it hit him differently. Sean started crying. The star didn’t know that he needed to release it. So, he stopped his car, sang the song and cried. Sean thanked Lewis for it, calling it therapy as it helped him start up again.
Sean Grieves The Loss Of His Brother!
Sean’s brother passed away on January 11. He shared a video on January 15. The actor mentioned that he struggled to find the words or choose a picture for this. He shared that his brother, Darren Marguire, passed away on Saturday, January 11. Darren died peacefully, surrounded by his family. He said that his brother was a remarkable friend, brother, son and father. Sean was still in shock. He said that the world has lost such a loving person, adding that they will keep loving him. Sean told Derren to make everyone laugh in heaven.
Meanwhile, in EastEnders, Sean portrayed Aidan Brosnan. He was a part of some gripping storylines revolving around homelessness, drug abuse and suicide attempts. Although Mandy prevented him from committing suicide, he blamed her for ruining his life and went to Ireland.
After leaving the soap, the actor had a successful pop career, achieving eight top 30 hits, including Good Day, which reached number 12 in the UK charts.
