Shane Richie, the actor who portrays the role of Alfie Moon on the iconic soap opera, has set our tongues wagging by giving out details of the potential romantic reunion of his character and Kat. The true spark never really fades away, and something along these lines is going to air soon on the BBC programme. EastEnders spoilers for the forthcoming week reveal that Alfie and Kat will let go of all their issues and share a kiss. The duo will finally realise that there is spark between them as they continue to deal with their troubled teen, Tommy Moon. Viewers know that Kat and Alfie are dealing with a child-parent abuse storyline on the show.
Last week, dramatic scenes took place when Tommy was moved out of his own home to temporarily live with Zack Hudson. Even though Kat and Alfie are again in good space, Kat will continue to have issues with Jean Slater’s secret phone call to social services. This has led to Alfie being determined about making the Slater’s reconcile in the upcoming week, and he might be able to do so, too.

When Alfie and Kat visit Tommy, he gets through the troubled teen which is appreciated by Kat. While speaking about this storyline, Shane said, “Alfie doesn’t notice, but Kat is sitting there hanging on to every word he says. No frills, just saying we love you, and we will be here for you. I think Kat is reminded about why she fell for Alfie 22 years ago.” It looks like Kat is grateful to have Alfie’s support during this difficult time.
As the duo head back home, Kat surprises him with a kiss. In response to this, the soap legend added, “Alfie doesn’t see it coming at all! When they get back, he can see Kat is a bit gooey-eyed, but he isn’t quite sure what that’s all about.” Richie also mentioned how Kat’s kiss upends his character’s world. He also talked about how Kat and Alfie both have a long way to go as of now and added, “Watch this space because there will be fireworks!” OMG!
