A Heartfelt Farewell On EastEnders Set
Micah Balfour, who played Junior Knight, recently wrapped his final scenes on the soap. Also, the BBC soap’s official social media account uploaded a video. Micah said, “I’ve just filmed my last episode. It’s been a real honour to be part of the show. Honestly, this was the show that my whole family would watch together while growing up.”
He further added, “So to be a part, a small part of its history is like… It’s a great honour for me. So thank you for sticking by Junior. I know he’s been a character, but yeah, it’s been a privilege. So thank you.” when he wrapped his scene even the cast members came to celebrate the moment.

Not just this, the soap’s executive producer, Ben Wadey, said Micah is a lovely guy to work with. He also said that he will be “very sorely missed.” Moreover, Colin Salmon, who plays his onscreen father, gave him a tight hug. Even Molly Rainford, who will soon leave her character, Gina Knight, was also present there.
Junior Knight’s Final Storylines And Their Impact
Junior’s affair with Cindy Beale was the most dramatic storyline of his journey. Cindy was his father, George Knight’s ex-wife. And their affair was exposed on Christmas, leaving the entire Square shocked. In his final episode, we will see him saying a farewell goodbye to Cindy. They parted as friends. However, there’s still a warning, particularly about Nicola Mitchell.
Junior and his father were distant because of what happened with Cindy Beale. In the end, George decided he had to repair things. Elsewhere, Junior will also reconcile with key figures in his life. It includes Kojo Asare. Kojo recently dealt with a difficult phase when Okie had trapped him and his friend in the drug business.

Junior is leaving as he got a new job offer in Dubai. And surprisingly, he accepted it and already booked his tickets. He wanted to stay away from Walford’s chaos and start fresh. How will his departure affect the Knight family? His run on the soap may be over, but he might return someday. For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
