Chrissie Actress Tracy Gives Sneak-Peek Of Her Storyline!
EastEnders Star Tracy-Ann Oberman has teased chaos ahead of Chrissie Watts’ return to Walford. She used to portray the role of Dirty Den’s wife. The 58-year-old actress was last in December 2005 when she was imprisoned for the murder of her husband, Den Watts.
Long time viewers will remember that Chrissie conspired with Zoe and Sam to bury Den under the floor of the Queen Vic. This led to her lying to Den’s daughter Sharon and son Dennie about what actually happened to their dad.
Even though Sam initially took the blame, it was soon uncovered that Chrissie did the deed after Phil and Grant reached out to support their sister. In the end, Chrissie was caught and imprisoned for nearly two decades. But back in July, soap bosses announced that the actress was all set for a bombshell return after being away for 19 years.
While speaking about her comeback on The One Show Tonight, she admitted that Exec Producer Chris Clenshaw persuaded her to return. Tracy also highlighted that the timing for her character to come back was never right, and this time, the storyline is brilliant. The famous star also gave fans a sneak peek at her return narrative. She said, I couldn’t say no to this storyline. It was weird. There are bits that are not quite on the set – but that’s all I’ll say.”
