Many EastEnders legends are absolutely devastated over Martin Fowler’s exit and have shared emotional tributes to actor James Bye. Spoilers relay the Walford veg trader died tragically in the highly-anticipated live episode after an explosion in the Vic, which was a part of show’s 40th anniversary week. As the building was caught up in brutal flames, Martin was crushed by a falling beam while he confessed his feelings for Stacey Slater.
Even though the paramedics tried to help Martin, he went into cardiac arrest and met his tragic fate in front of Stacey. Fans have been devastated ever since Martin passed, and now it looks like James’ co-stars are also taking this news heavily. James Farrar, who plays Zack Hudson on the show, opened up about his friend’s departure on Instagram. He complimented Bye for his compelling energy and how he always used to make for both of them.
He also wrote, “Thank you for the nights out, thank you for the laughter, and thank you for giving us one of the best moments in TV tonight.” Along with Farrar, Denise actress Diane Parish also took to her social media and shared her thoughts on James’ exit. “Heartbroken. We will miss your jokes, talent, and lofty presence. Love you, but it’s not goodbye,” she penned down.
Patsy Palmer, who plays the exceptional Bianca Jackson, also paid tribute to actor James, saying, ‘You’ll be missed so much’. She praised him for his performance in the live episode.
