The exceptional director of the BBC programme has got everyone’s attention through cryptic posts on Twitter. EastEnders will be celebrating its 40th anniversary at the beginning of next year and the show has been gearing up for it for quite some time now. And now, Christopher’s latest post suggests that one character of Walford might be reaching the ‘end of the pier.’
Sharing an image of a closed set filming, Christopher wrote, “Day Fourteen of @bbceastenders New Years Episodes #EndOfThePier.” This strange message looks like a hint at some major plot involving a pier of some sort. Furthermore, he also teased that something related to railway lines will also be a part of the upcoming storyline. One fan humorously asked the director, “I hope you didn’t cross the dressed set line, Chris!!!!” To which he said, “Crossing all the lines. Railway lines, too!!!”
