EastEnders: Nicola’s Festive Plan Backfires Amid Family Tensions
Nicola Mitchell organises a surprise half-Christmas party in June to cheer up her son Barney’s mood. The Mitchell matriarch tried to lift the mood by decorating and getting into the festive spirit.
She wants to reunite the Mitchell family after all the latest drama. But it does not quite work out. Harry promptly dismisses the idea and refuses to join in the celebration. Teddy tells Nicola to leave the family alone, which highly annoys her.
In anger, Nicola vents and ends up making a mess of the living room. Barney and Harry catch her during her rampage.
Later, she attempts to talk it over and proceeds with her plan. Billy, Honey, Barney, and Harry later come for the celebration. Zack surprises them by turning up too, which introduces new trouble.
Christmas Joy Turns Sour When Zack Arrives
Harry uses Zack’s arrival to bring up the affair he once had with Nicola. The affair took place when Nicola was still in a relationship with Shireen, Harry’s deceased girlfriend.
It introduces more trouble, and Harry chases Zack out of the house. Zack’s exit spoils the festive atmosphere Nicola worked so hard to establish.
Barney is upset about what happened and leaves the house. Teddy accompanies him, attempting to soothe him and smooth things out.
