EastEnders spoilers suggest that in the upcoming episode, Joel will be going to make a movie on Avani. He will ask her for a kiss, then she will reveal that she’s still a virgin. But the boy will assure her that he really doesn’t care about it until his bond is strong with her. In the heat of the moment, she will invite him to her empty house.
Avani then decides to sleep with him. But Joel will take advantage of the moment, as he will film them having sex. Later he will show the video to Tommy to impress and encourage him to do the same.
According to an insider, the makers are very well aware of the rise of such cases amongst the teenagers. As the soap is popular amongst the younger groups too, this storyline will hopefully reach those who need it. “Bosses scripted this storyline over six months ago, and it will build over the coming weeks and months to show the influence that social media can have on impressionable teens.”
Further, it is said that the plot will also explore the adverse effect of toxic friendship, and it will not be glamorous. This plot has come after the huge success of Netflix’s series Adolescence.
Joel Convinced Avani To Believe His Lie
According to the Sun, a poll by the NASUWT teaching union says that nearly three in five teachers believe that social media affects a student’s behaviour and it deteriorates their behaviour, especially in schools.
Earlier Joel and Tommy entered Avani’s house party with a bottle of vodka. Later, when everyone was teasing Tommy for less experience with girls, Joel gave him some troublesome advice. He introduced him to pornography and asked him to watch it often.
