The character has been causing chaos ever since he came back to Walford, but now the bad boy is about to show a softer side. A New Arrival Shakes Things Up
Oscar Branning is one of the most popular faces in Albert Square. He returned in July and, since then, has earned quite a reputation. He recently faced the lowest point of his life. Oscar lashed out at Patrick Trueman, and he was severely injured in the incident.
Viewers were furious and shocked to see Oscar’s behaviour. They got to know how desperate he was for money. He was willing to hurt somebody who had so much respect in Walford. Now, friendship with Patrick is in danger. However, he will soon find a distraction, and that could alter his situation.
Next week, we will see Jasmine, played by Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, making her debut in East London. She arrives at The Albery looking for a job. And Cindy Beale is in charge over there. She goes to Cindy Beale to seek her help. Cindy Beale initially turned her down. She is unsure if Jasmine is ready to handle the busy pub life.
However, Jasmine really proves her skills. Her dedication impresses Cindy, and she gets hired. But Jean Slater enters the picture. She warns them both, but Jasmine won’t stop from showing her worth. Even Elaine Knight is not much interested in the newcomer. As she is the bar manager, she doesn’t want Jasmine to enter as she feels something is off with her.
EastEnders’ Oscar Makes His Move
Oscar flirts with Jasmine at The Albert and asks her out, hoping to win her over with his charm. However, Oscar does something awful. He steals an outfit from the market to impress her. It was the typical Oscar Branning behaviour we have all seen.
Cindy sees the two of them together. And she quickly warns Jasmine to stay away from him. Cindy knows Oscar’s history with girls and how he is with them. He is never loyal to any girl, and she doesn’t want Jasmine to get hurt. However, we do not know if Jasmine will follow her orders.
