During the stag and hen festivities, tension over Joel’s future has left the couple on shaky ground. However, while Ross is oblivious, Vicki does something unexpected. The attraction between the secret lovers leads to stolen kisses outside. But Vicki and Zack were unaware that a mysterious figure was filming the entire thing. The morning after, a remorseful Vicki tries to fix things with her fiance, Ross.
Even Ross promises that his priority is her comfort rather than his son’s living arrangements. But soon, a picture message of her smooch with Zack arrives on her phone. Vicki then receives another follow-up message. The blackmailer demands £20,000 to keep the footage hidden.
Zack Struggles With Rejection In EastEnders
Something huge had happened to Zack before the blackmail plot. The loverlorn lad was forced into a position as a last-minute stripper at the hen do. Even Kathy Beale notices the sparks between the two. However, the next morning, he is rejected, sending him spiralling.
When he feels pushed aside, the bottle becomes a source of comfort for him. Later, he pours his heart out to Sam Mitchell. Then he eventually tracks down the bride-to-be and drunkenly declares that the feelings are over. Soon, the extortion messages begin to flood in. The two then begin to search for the culprit. And it leads to several confrontations. Initially they suspected Zoe Slater and even Ian Beale. When things didn’t go their way they confessed everything to Mark Fowler.
The brother then tries to track the phone to unmask the sinister sender. Sources reveal, “Vicki’s next message is a demand for £20,000 to keep quiet.” Now, with everything so messy. Vicki realises that admitting the truth to her partner might be the only way to stop the game.
