Vicki Faces Her Past, And Kat Supports Her
After all Vicki Fowler has faced, she’s still trying to stay strong. Joel’s attack left her hurt and shaken. Elsewhere, now Joel is behind bars. Not just this, Vicki even ended her relationship with his father Ross Marshall.
However, despite trying to be strong, she ends up getting flashbacks of that horrible night. Meanwhile, Tommy Moon, who had helped Joel to hide in the Slaters’ garage, is still not over that shadow. He didn’t know what Joel had done and thought he was helping his friend. Elsewhere, when he returned to school, Nugget and Denzel call him an “incel” and bully him for his involvement.
However, Vicki Fowler soon enters and starts defending Tommy Moon in front of everyone. She was unaware of his involvement in hiding Joel. Amy and others were standing nearby and watching it all, confused. However, the truth is soon revealed to Vicki. Amy then tells her that Tommy was responsible for hiding Joel in the garage. After learning the entire truth, Vicki gets very furious.
And that is when Kat Moon steps. However, this time she didn’t defend her son. She rather comforted Vicki and listened to her. She offers her support, which shocks Vicki. Vicki has never had a great relationship with Slater-Moons. Vicki had lashed out at Zoe Slater for her involvement in Denn Watt’s death. And also for lying about the father of her kids. However, when Kat offered help, there was hope that things would get better.
A Painful Breakdown And Glimpse Of Healing In EastEnders
Vicki wants to return to a normal life as she is suffering mentally. And then she goes out for drinks with Kathy Beale. The two were having a good time. However, something happens there that shatters Vicki. She sees a man making a girl uncomfortable.
She rushed back home and broke down. Vicki gets all those bad memories she once tried to move on from. It also points out to the audience that the damaging experience is still fresh in the characters’ minds, even though the villain has been eliminated.
