Aidan’s Dark Past Still Haunts Fans
Aidan played Lewis Butler at The Prince Albert. He was the charming bar manager, very friendly at first. Elsewhere, he also had close relationships with Callum Highway and Ben Mitchell. However, soon things turned. What Lewis did was one of the most disturbing storylines on the soap.
Ben and Lewis’s friendship had started to grow. However, for Lewis, it was more than just friendship. And one night after drinking, he tried to ask for advances from Ben. However, since Ben was not single, he did not accept the advances. Elsewhere, this made Lewis so angry that he raped him. The next day, when Ben confronted him, he denied those allegations. But soon the truth was out, and Kathy had fired him.

However, Lewis soon returned to the Square. And when the Mitchell family learnt about it, they kidnapped him. Elsewhere, Ben forced him to confess what he had done. However, Lewis managed to escape punishment. After a few months, Ben learnt that he had been charged for another assault elsewhere. And that role had changed everything for Aidan.
In addition, he became the first Irish actor to star in both EastEnders and Emmerdale. He appeared as Mike in Emmerdale for a short time in 2018. He appeared in The Witcher: Blood Origin and is now working on The Reckoning of Erin Morrigan. Fans are now excited to see him in Coronation Street.
