EastEnders viewers were left gasping as the soap aired its dramatic explosion storyline, and a major villain was killed off in the 40th-anniversary special. EastEnders Murderer Meets His Deadly Fate
EastEnders Spoilers relay that the BBC soap celebrated its four-decade milestone with a dramatic hour-long special – and it finally spilled the end of Walford’s latest murderer. This week, Reiss Colwell will finally die after killing his comatose wife, Debbie, letting pregnant Sonia go to prison for it, and then kidnapping Bianca after she learnt the truth. After the explosion, the Walford accountant snuck into The Vic and found Sonia, Bianca, and Lauren.
The ladies were helping Sonia as she went into labour. Bianca tried to support her sister and looked for a way to reach the hospital. But, Reiss suddenly made an appearance and insisted that he still loved Sonia and wanted to be a part of their baby’s life. “You’re a freak! You’re a murdering freak!” Sonia said as Bianca fended him off with a rolling pin. Sonia also highlighted that this baby will have nothing to do with him and asked him to just die.
Rubble landed near him with him, quipping: “Well, that was close,” before a bathtub fell from the floor above and crushed him to death. Bianca went to see his condition and confirmed that Reiss is actually dead. There also has been chatter about Sonia not making it alive as she struggles with pregnancy. With Natalie Cassidy announcing that she’s leaving Walford – this could be the last few episodes where we see her!
