Kat and Alfie are trying to understand what is happening around them. When Zoe sees that smashed photo and the videotape, she is left shaken. She thought someone wanted to remind her of something from the past, which she never wanted to face again.
However, things get worse later when Alfie Kat and Zoe walk into the living room. They see that the Slaters’ family photos are destroyed, with their faces scratched out. Zoe and Kat couldn’t process what they saw. Elsewhere, Alfie tried to calm them by saying it’s nothing serious. However, Kat doesn’t trust his words as she knows this time it’s a serious matter.
Moreover, Zoe is having a terrible day. When she meets the private investigator, things fall apart. When she returns, she learns that her cat has been missing and also ends up fighting with Vicki Fowler again. All bad things are happening around her at once. And Kat sees Zoe’s turmoil and decides to sell her share of the limo business. She just wanted to help her a bit in finding Zoe’s son. All she wants to do is fix things; however, it is not as easy as it seems.

Later, Alfie chats with Bert and Ernie, and something they say doesn’t sit right. He grows suspicious of Zoe and confronts her. She then tells him the truth. She confesses that she had ruined the photos.
Kat and Alfie do not even know what to say; they are just broken and stare at her. Zoe then tells them that her intentions were never to hurt her. She had no involvement in the rest of the things. The tape, the cat, none of it, she swears. “Someone really is after me,” she says
Kat, however, is in no mood to trust her. Zoe has lied so many times in the past, and now her every word only feels like a big lie. Even if she wants to believe her something, it just doesn’t feel good. Alfie is trying to maintain peace among his family members.
