Jean Starts To Spiral, And Kat Steps In
Kat has seen her daughter Zoe’s life disintegrate. She is in this state after attempting to understand the stalker who has been terrorising her for several days. The incidents of the Halloween week seem to be still very fresh in her memory, like a nightmare. And she keeps on searching for the person responsible for her mental breakdown.
At first, she thought Tommy Moon had something to do with that frightening message on the Vic’s window. However, she was unaware that Jean Slater had already confessed to Lily downstairs that she had put up the message. She did it because she blamed Zoe for Freddie and Stacey’s departure. And also, Kat said that if one more threat, Zoe will pack her bags. So, to send her away, Jean did the unthinkable.
Elsewhere, Jean was struggling in silence. And Lily saw that her grandmother’s mental state was not right. Elsewhere, she couldn’t see Jean in pain, and so she informs Kat and Alfie. After Lily informed them, they reached Number 31.
Later, Jean confessed to Kat. And that’s when Kat promised that she would help her. And that she would never let the family fall into another darker place. Elsewhere, Kat returned to the pub and found another ally. However, she soon learnt something that shook her. And now she had to rethink the entire situation around Zoe.
Zoe Faces A New Danger In EastEnders
Meanwhile, Kat learnt that Zoe was trapped in a fire at Number 25. The information came to her as if someone had hit her with a fist. She hurried to tell Alfie about it, and both of them felt the panic rising almost instantly. To keep their nerves in check, they didn’t stop trying to be calm until more news came.
Elsewhere, in the midst of this chaos, Alfie and Kat decide to host a community dinner at the pub on Christmas Day. And while they were preparing for it, Zoe came face-to-face with Max Branning again. Will Max’s return make things worse for Zoe?
