Family Conflicts In EastEnders
The drama began when Zoe went to meet a private investigator to search for her son. However, she had stolen the money from the till. Then Kat confronts her about the money she had taken from The Vic. However, she noticed that Zoe had not been telling the whole truth. She could see an inconsistency in her story.
Later at the pub, a cat was trapped in the barrel store. And so Zoe managed to free the cat. But Kat was watching how Zoe’s behaviour had become unpredictable. She then asked Zoe to be honest, especially about searching for Dennis’s son. Kat knew that it was an important matter for Sharon.
However, a shock was revealed when Zoe told Kat that the twins were not Dennis’s children. Kat couldn’t believe all of this for a moment and was furious at her, thinking she had been hiding many other secrets from the family. Elsewhere, realising Sharon’s struggle, Ian transferred money to Vicki to help in searching for Dennis’s children.
Later, Zoe finds a smashed photo of her and Kat. She believed Kat had done so to hurt her. However, when Kat denied any involvement, she accused Vicki. Alfie found an old 1980s videotape in the barrel store. Zoe got scared and worried about what it might show about the Slaters. However, despite Kat asking it not to be played, the tape was played, and it had moments from the past. She then doubts Anthony Trueman and kicks him out of The Vic. However, Anthony came to Kat and spoke about Zoe’s weird behaviour.
Consequences For The Slater Household
Zoe has been lying and acting unpredictably, which has caused great tension in the Slater family’s house. Kat has to deal with the consequences of Zoe’s behaviour and, on top of that, her job at The Vic. She tries to be sympathetic to her daughter. The locals are left wondering about Zoe’s motives, the reason for the broken picture, and whether she is hiding any more secrets.
