Kat and Alfie Struggle To Trust Zoe In EastEnders
Since the moment Zoe returned to Albert Square, she has been lying to everybody, especially to Kat and Alfie. She has twisted stories to her comfort and has tried hiding secrets. But now, when something strange is happening around her, Kat and Alfie are not ready to feel that someone might actually be behind her.
Elsewhere, Zoe even insisted to them that someone is threatening her; however, Alfie is not ready to trust her. Moreover, Alfie starts looking into things himself and catches Zoe. With no option left, Zoe confesses that she had exaggerated some parts of her stalker story. However, she says that she did it only to get sympathy from them so that they would be on her side.
She even clarifies that the other weird things happening were not her wrongdoings. Kat wanted to trust her daughter; however, she now understands that Zoe often tricks them. Elsewhere, even her past lie, where she told everyone that Dennis Rickman was the father of her twins, was also haunting her. Kat had accidentally revealed this to Vicki after she sensed something was wrong. And after this, Kat had asked Zoe to leave. However, before she could do so, something strange was happening to her.
The Shocking Confession That Changes Everything
Zoe faces another problem when her cat goes missing. Elsewhere, Vicki is mocking her about it. But Anthony feels bad for her and offers to help her despite their awkward history. Later, when Kat and Alfie return home, they see that family photos were damaged. Elsewhere, Kat’s heart breaks seeing Zoe in tears. She wanted to help her, and so she decided to sell her share in the limo business. She wanted to trust her no matter what anyone said.
However, Alfie can’t let it go so easily. Later, he hears Bert and Ernie speaking, and feels something is wrong. So when Zoe returns home, he confronts her. And Zoe admits that she had tampered with the photos herself. She then requests that Kat understand, saying she did because she felt ignored and desperate.
