Max appeared at Lauren and Peter’s wedding reception, and several people were off guard. Oscar Branning was finally happy to see his dad again. However, Lauren stayed alert. She even had a clash with him and asked him to leave Walford immediately. But Max didn’t go, as we all know, he was here for some motive.
And he soon notices Zoe. They both had a fling earlier this year. When they continued talking, Kat noticed them. She warned her daughter to be careful. Meanwhile, Stacey Slater was shocked to see Max back. Her old feelings stirred, but upstairs Zoe advised her to stay away from him. When Stacey was leaving, Max went behind her. However, they soon met privately. Stacey invited him over for a drink. They spoke about their old good times. And Max even claimed that he had changed after he left Walford behind.
Stacey then opened up about Martin Fowler’s death. She admitted that she still has feelings for Max; however, she loves Martin. And things got so emotional that they were about to kiss. However, Zoe soon interrupted them. When Max left, Zoe pushed Stacey to leave Walford for good. She advises her to catch her flight to Brazil. Lily thinks leaving is best. Stacey heads to the airport, but the next moment shocks her.
Zoe Makes Her Move In EastEnders
When Zoe thought that Stacey was leaving, she contacted Max. She tells him to meet outside and then admits her feelings towards him. She even mentions that she wants to start where they left off. Max was hesitating because of the history related to Greg Dolan. However, Zoe persuaded him. And they kissed each other outside the Queen Vic. They were unaware that somebody was watching all this. And it was none other than Stacey Slater. She was shocked to see her cousin sister with her old flame. She had no idea that the two even knew each other.
Now Stacey had to make a choice. Her flight was coming up, and she had to decide whether to move on or confront Zoe and Max. She wasn’t sure about Max while he was with someone else.
