EastEnders Penny Branning deals with the fallout of her pregnancy scare after everything comes out at Jack’s family lunch. Kitty Castledine shares how the situation unfolds. And despite all the obstacles, what will Penny decide? Will she keep the baby? Keep scrolling to know more.
Penny Branning’s Pregnancy Is Revealed
After keeping her relationship with Vinny slow and steady for several weeks, their New Year moment didn’t fade, and their connection grew stronger. Penny tries to treat it as a one, time thing. But Gina Knight knows that they’re just pretending. So, she encourages her to accept this new spark. Later, the couple finally decides to see how it feels between them.
However, the new mum is not usually the one to make this choice, according to her past. Penny is played by Kitty Castledine who said that the two never saw each other before, even though there was a lot of trouble between the Panesars and the Brannings for years, but none of that matters here because this match gives something steady for a change.

This shift happens when Jack Branning finds a pregnancy test during a family meal. The father then teams up with Denise to learn whose it belongs to. The first suspect is Lily. However, she refuses the claims. Later, the new mum is forced to speak up and admit the truth.
Kitty added, “Jack immediately couldn’t believe what he was hearing and wanted to talk it through. However, Denise wants to protect Penny’s privacy, given that they are at a family dinner. And it’s an intense and private conversation to have.” Soon, she turns to Lauren Branning because she sees how well Lauren handles motherhood. Even Oscar helps in his own way.
A Tough Appointment For Penny Branning In EastEnders
However, trouble grows when the chief meddler, Oscar, mentions this to Vinny. After which, the pair visit the GP to discuss the next steps. During the visit, the doctor focuses entirely on Vinny. He speaks to him about support options while Penny sits unheard. And it frustrates Jack’s daughter because she expects clear answers and fair guidance during this time.
She realises that easily her voice can be pushed aside, leaving her unsettled. Kitty explains that Penny is a fiery, stubborn, and extremely honest person. And Vinny should learn to assert himself with his mum and family.

Vinny’s gentle, kind-hearted nature and his morals are such that Penny might learn from him, whereas she considered these qualities as something that she doesn’t have naturally. But will Penny keep the baby? For more EastEnders spoilers and updates, keep following Soap Opera Daily.
