Emmerdale star Eden Taylor-Draper has shared an exciting update following her character, Belle Dingle’s exit from the village. After enduring months of abuse from husband Tom King, Belle finally mustered the courage to leave him. Although Belle has left the village, the actress celebrated a nostalgic milestone as her first Dales episode aired in the classic re-runs on ITV. She posted a picture of the episode on her Instagram. Eden Taylor-Draper Relives Her Debut Scene
Belle Dingle recently made her temporary exit from Dales. Following her departure, the actress Eden Taylor-Draper also marked a milestone. Viewers must know Tom has been tormenting his wife for a long time now. Hence, to escape him, she decided to move to Scotland.
In the most recent episode, Charity Dingle discovered Belle dismantling the surveillance equipment Tom had used to spy on her. After realising how disturbed her cousin was, she suggested that Belle visit her dad in Scotland. Belle reluctantly agreed and headed off with Charity.
Meanwhile, the soap actress off-screen celebrated her first episode airing during the classic Emmerdale re-runs on ITV. Let us tell you that she stepped into the role when she was just eight years old in 2005. In her very first scene, she shared the screen with the legendary Steve Halliwell in the famous Dingle van.
The scene showed Belle just coming back home from school for punching a classmate, and when Zak told her she couldn’t go around hitting people. However, Belle hilariously pointed out that her brother Cain Dingle did the same thing. On Instagram, Eden shared a photo and expressed, “I’ve made it to classic Emmerdale!”
Fans took to Reddit, with one user noting how ‘cute’ Belle was. Another commenter added, “She was really quite comical in her early years.” Along with Belle, the episode also included appearances of Sam Dingle, Jimmy King and Laurel Thomas.
