Gail told Ryan that their goals no longer align with each other. When they returned home, Ryan was shattered as Gail told him she got a job through her friend. She informed him that she would move to Devon.
In Monday’s episode, Ryan is devastated due to the breakup. Ross Barton told him he should start seeking someone else to date and forget about her ex-girlfriend, Gail Loman. Ross wanted to show that he is best at advising about women, believing that he knows everything about women. However, Steph dumped him, and Manpreet didn’t like how Ross treated him after the casual relationship.

Emmerdale actor Rachel Gill Davis, who plays Gail Loman, took to social media to share her exit when the final scenes aired. The actor posted behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram. In the caption, she wrote that the two years had been crazy. She thanked everyone for showing their love and support for Gail over the past two years.
Rachel appreciated the soap viewers, and she said that meeting some of the fans was a wonderful experience. She said that she did the best and brought humour to the fans. Rachel also expressed gratitude towards writers, co-actors and the whole soap team. She said that she had grown so much in the journey and would miss the show.
Rachel joined the soap in 2019 as Gail Loman. She arrived as Ryan’s girlfriend. In 2023, she continued to play her character for two years.
