Robert Sugden returned to the village and interrupted the wedding. He told Aaron that he was making a mistake. Robert told Aaron that he never stopped loving him, even in prison. Aaron was surprised and wasn’t able to complete his vows at first.
John got concerned and fearful about the marriage. Aaron left the wedding ceremony in between as he got overwhelmed. Later, he found Robert Sugden by the bridge and asked how he was out of prison.
Robert explained that he was out due to an appeal. So, he came to the wedding to stop Aaron. Fan-Favourite didn’t know who to choose, Robert or John Sugden. In the recent episodes, viewers learned that he had picked John. While the ceremony took place, Robert drank and sat at the bus station. Then PC Swirling came and told him that he had broken his bail conditions.

Thus, Robert was back in prison. He was there for a very short time in the village. Meanwhile, John Sugden and Aaron Dingle married each other and celebrated it with their family in the Woolpack. Then Mackenzie Boyd also came after Lewis Barton let him go. He apologised for not being Aaron’s best man. Mack even decorated the van for the couple’s honeymoon departure. Aaron appreciated his efforts.
John and Aaron left the village. John was very happy. He told him that they had finally done it, as for him, it was far more than becoming a married couple. Meanwhile, Kyle came and told Chas, Ruby, Cain and Caleb that he saw divers bringing the body out of the lake. They thought that it was Anthony’s body.
