Emmerdale spoilers confirm that the viewers have a thrilling mystery at their hands after the recent episodes of the ITV drama aired. The much anticipated limo crash took place this week. The aftermath saw Amy Wyatt falling into the frozen lake as the ice under her feet cracked.
As she began drowning, she bumped against a rotting dead body. Terrified, she tried to desperately get out of the frozen lake but couldn’t break through the icy surface. Eventually, she lost consciousness and started to descend into a watery grave.
Currently, there is no confirmation whether Amy survives the tragedy on Emmerdale or not. However, one thing is for sure: someone has already died, and their body had been waiting in the lake to be discovered. But who is this person? Even though the spoilers offer no hints, the body itself offered many.
Those who tuned into the episode couldn’t help but notice a bracelet on the body that was very similar to the one Nate and Tracy’s daughter made for him. Of course, there was also the very telling tattoo sleeve. So, at this point, it seems very likely that the lifeless body is actually Nate Robinson.
Previously, Nate left the Dales after Cain beat him up. It all happened due to Caleb’s concussion about Nate having an affair with Moira. However, that wasn’t true at all. Even though we knew that Nate had left the village, we never really watched it happening on screen.
Moreover, no one has actually heard from or spoken to Nate after that incident. Thus, it is very much possible that Nate never really left Dales, but just drowned in the lake. Or, someone murdered him and then abandoned the body in the lake. That brings us to the next big question – who is the killer?
Of course, our first instinct is to believe that Cain may have had something to do with it since he was just so furious. But wouldn’t that just be way too obvious and simple for a soap? We mean, where’s the drama, where’s the shock value? So, for the sake of thrill, it has to be someone else.
But who? One more sinister name pops to our head! Could it be Tom King? We know he is an impulsive and aggressive man. Nate happens to be Belle’s family and there was a time they were really close.
It is possible that Tom and Nate had an altercation off-screen. Something that we may get to watch as a flashback scene. Perhaps Nate and Tom bumped into each other before the former got a chance to skip town. Tom could have made a sly comment about Belle, and an already agitated Nate may have gotten into a brawl with Tom.
