Soaps’ Schedule Shake-Up for Football and NTAs

This week, ITV soaps are being temporarily pulled from the schedule. With an England football match on the way, Emmerdale won’t air on ITV1 on September 10, 2024 (Tuesday). This leaves viewers on edge as they eagerly await to see what’s next for Belle and Tom.

Next, on September 13, 2024 (Wednesday), the National Television Awards will be broadcast live from London’s O2 Arena. Hence, Corrie won’t air that night. The Masked Singer UK presenter Joel Dommett will host this glitzy event. Fans can catch the actors on the red carpet from 8 p.m. to 10:35 p.m.

But don’t worry, an episode of Emmerdale will air on Wednesday, right before the 2024 NTAs. The award ceremony will see big shows competing for the public’s vote. This Morning won Best Daytime/Live Magazine Show for over ten years. However, things were not the same after the hosts, Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, left their jobs.
