EASTER CHAOS! Emmerdale And Coronation Street Drop Major Schedule Bombshell For NEXT Week!

Emmerdale and Coronation Street will see further scheduling changes next week. The episodes will be out on Easter Sundays. The timings will be different. Emmerdale And Coronation Street Drop Major Schedule Bombshell!

ITV has confirmed that both Emmerdale and Coronation Street will be getting an extra episode. This is happening for the second week in a row. Soap fans might know that the episodes will be shown this Sunday, March 29. Furthermore, the shows will also air on Easter Sunday. On both Sundays, the episodes will be out earlier than usual. Emmerdale will be out at 7 pm, and Coronation Street will be out at 7:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the people who watch the soaps through ITVX or YouTube will be dropping off in the morning. The schedule for the soaps has been messed up due to the coverage of various sports events and repeats of Vera. 

The Sunday episodes are making up for the episodes that the fans are missing out on due to the schedule shake-up. The next week will be a messy one. But the week starting on Easter Monday will be normal. 

Kevin Lygo Reflects On The Changes!

Elsewhere, it is the first time each soap has aired three hours of episodes across seven days since January. Even ITV’s Managing Director of Media and Entertainment, Kevin Lygo, opened up about the new scheduling pattern.

He said that the right number of episodes can increase the viewership. The fans will be able to watch them freely. The schedule provides the opportunity to meet the viewer’s expectations for storyline pace, pay-off and resolution. They have been making these changes for the continuous success of these soaps in the long run. 

Meanwhile, Emmerdale has been showing various dramatic storylines featuring Joe Tate, Cain Dingle, Charity Dingle and Moira Dingle. A war between the Tates and the Dingles is continuing.
