Emmerdale star, Amy Walsh and EastEnders actor, Toby Alexander Smith, married in 2023. Amy Walsh’s sister, Sally, established the Walsh Academy in London in 2021. Amy and Toby took to social media to share good news. The couple announced they will support Sally by launching her drama school in the North. The soap actors shared an exciting video on Instagram.
Amy Walsh and Toby Alexander Smith mentioned in the caption that the Walsh Academy has flourished and students are thriving. So, they have made a decision to launch the Walsh Academy in the north as well. Toby said the academy will open on 2nd June, 2025, at St Barnabas Church in Alwoodley, Leeds. He further shared that they would offer speech and drama classes for children aged 7 to 16. After that, they will also provide screen acting.
The Couple Shares Their Aim!
In the video, Amy mentioned that the interesting part about the classes is that the couple will be their acting coaches. They shared that their main aim isn’t to turn a child into a star.
They want to imbibe confidence in them so that they can freely express themselves, make new friends and have fun. Toby said they will not only explore the talent in their children but also help them grow. He shared that eventually, they want the children to speak up and believe in themselves.
Amy Walsh and Toby Alexander Smith started dating in 2020. Then they engaged in summer 2022 and tied the knot in 2023. They also have a young daughter, Bonnie. The pair welcomed her in December 2021.
