April has been under Celia and Ray’s control for several months. They have also forced her into sex slavery. The youngster also told her father, Marlon Dingle and her mother, Rhona Goskirk, that she has been trapped in Ray and Celia’s web. However, Ray and Celia ended up threatening the family. Furthermore, they ended up hurting Dylan Penders. Ray hit him with a car, and he has been fighting for his life.
In the recent episode, Marlon and Rhona planned to flee with their kids, Leo and Ivy. They secured rucksacks filled with supplies and a car to get out of the village. Rhona asked what to do about Dylan, as he has also been exploited by the drug dealers. Marlon said that the only alternative would be staying like sitting ducks. He knew that April wouldn’t leave Dylan; they wanted to keep her in the dark.
However, their daughter said that they need to forget the fight with Ray and Celia. They should do what Ray says, and then everything would be fine. Marlon overheard April speaking to Dylan. She vowed that she would be there by his side till he wakes up. Marlon said that he will be fine as he is the toughest kid he knows. He told April to leave.

She said that she would continue to work for Ray to pay off the debt that she still owes. Marlon was horrified. He offered to pay off the drug dealers himself to save April.
