Ben Addis Takes on New Role After Dales Exit
Ben Addis has landed a role in a huge TV series. The actor is popularly known for playing the villain Craig Reed, who was an old friend of Lydia Dingle. The pair met again at a jobs fair and became friends. But things took a dark turn when Craig assaulted Lydia.
The villain got his just desserts when Cain and Sam Dingle took him down, and then Kim Tate’s horse kicked him in the head, leading to his death. Now, after almost one year, Addis is set to star as a character Oscar in the new series Paris Has Fallen.
This show is a spin-off from the Has Fallen film series, created and written by Howard Overman and directed by Hans Herbots and Oded Ruskin. It will hit the screens on September 23, 2024. Fans can stream it on Canal+ and Amazon Video. The soap star will share the screen with Tewfik Jallab, Rity Arya, Ana Ularu & more.
It revolves around a deadly political conspiracy that threatens France and its allies. Terrorist leader Jacob Pearce is out to expose the dark secrets of top French politicians. After a daring attack on a high-profile event, protection officer Vincent Taleb joins forces with MI6 agent Zara Taylor to stop him.
Reportedly, this film kicks off the Has Fallen series without Gerard Butler, though he’ll return in three more movies. Let us see how the star transitions from a villain to a hero. I love the ‘Has fallen film’s and I can’t wait to see him act out his film role as opposed to a tv actor.
I’m certain that although he isn’t Gerard Butler, he will do a magnificent job.
I mean, it’s a top film franchise right, so they need the beat actors.
