The soap fans saw a special two-handler episode focusing on Cain and Charity Dingle. They came together for an unexpected conversation. It was badly needed as Cain had been anxious all week. He has been dealing with the diagnosis of his prostate cancer, his wife, Moira’s, ongoing imprisonment and the Dingles losing the Butler’s farm.
Charity confronted Cain when he lashed out at Sam. Though his doctor told him not to drink, he drank heavily. Cain tried to betray Moira by kissing Charity. He wanted to suppress his problems.
Cain also opened up to Charity about his fears that he has been holding for his and Moira’s relationship. He thinks that their marriage will never be the same again due to the physical effects of his treatment.
Cain Makes A Bold Promise To Charity!
When she promised to remain quiet, Cain tried to kiss her. Cain was grateful and hoped that he could return the favour one day.
She warned him that if she ever made a mistake, he should be easy on her, as she might need his help one day. Then Cain gave her a St Christopher necklace as a reminder of the favour. He said that it was a symbol of protection.
Whenever the time comes when she needs him, she should give it back to him and promise that she will be there for her. Meanwhile, the soap fans are aware that the baby’s secret will be out soon. She is keeping quiet that she is carrying Ross’s child.
