Last week, Caleb Miligan heard a noise from a depot truck that had returned from overseas. He saw a young woman, Anya, hiding between the stack of boxes. Caleb was terrified to know what the police would think if they saw her. The police had to talk to Joe Tate as he hit Jimmy King with his car. Then Ruby put in her coat and glasses, telling Caleb that they were heading out for lunch.
However, Ruby realised that her husband was hiding something. Then she discovered Anya in the truck. Ruby took her home. At Mill Cottage, she took a bath, and Ruby served her dinner. She started asking questions her but she barely spoke. Caleb was staggered to see Anya in his home. He thought that the lady might shut down his business.

Thus, an argument occurred between the couple. Ruby wasn’t thinking that keeping a stowaway at their home could worsen the situation. He told her that she was doing it because she only wanted something to keep her busy. Ruby was connected to Anya as she knew that it was difficult for her. Furthermore, her children don’t live with her, so she wanted to help her.
