Ella Runs Away!
After Chas’s collapse in the engagement party, everyone accused Ella of tampering with her medicines. They blamed her due to her growing jealousy over Chas and Liam’s relationship. She even told Manpreet that Chas was trying to frame her, and she had a painkiller addiction. But no one believed her and pressured her to leave the village. Then Ella troubled the couple by bombarding them with messages and secretly watching them. She also smashed the window at the woolpack.
In a new episode, Ella defended herself by telling Mandy that Chas was trying to frame her and also said that she had nothing to do with the brick smashing the window at the woolpack. Even when Mandy mentioned that the brick had fingerprints she still stood firm. Due to her urge to meet Liam, Ella tricked him by forcing Mandy. When he came and realised her plan, he immediately asked about Chas. She reassured him that Chas was safe. When Mandy left she told him that Chas drugged herself and was trying to frame her. Ella also confessed her love for him, hoping they could fix their relationship.
Liam pretended that he wanted to come back to Ella. She finally admitted that she was the one who drugged Chas but quickly changed her statement when she realised that Liam was trying to trick her and told her that she was lying about drugging her. Meanwhile, Mandy warned Chas who rushed to Liam’s house and informed Ella that they had called the police.
Police Arrests Ella – But Is There More Danger Ahead?
Ella ran away insisting that she wouldn’t go to the prison for Liam or anyone else. Liam chased her into the woods. A major confrontation between them resulted in Ella pushing him and Liam hitting his head on a rock. Ella thought that she had killed him so she started sobbing but felt relieved when he regained consciousness.
She told Liam that he had been the kindest to her. When Liam told her that she needed professional help she agreed to it and requested not to file a case. She said that she would leave Liam and Chas in peace but he was still dubious and told her that she couldn’t keep running away from herself. She admitted that Ella was just a mask. Her real name was Ruth and she was trying to escape her past.
However, police sirens rang out through the woods. She once again confessed to him about her love and innocence but she was taken back to prison. Chas was relieved but Liam felt lost.
