In the latest episode, Alfie Clark, who plays the character of Arthur Thomas, returned to the soap. The show’s watchers saw the character in the hour-long episode as he had been absent for the past few months. In the recent instalment, Laurel Thomas introduced Arthur to the rest of the staff at The Hide. She told them that her son would be working there from now on.
Laurel encouraged the restaurant’s waiters by giving them a short prep talk. She said that they are going to be very busy tonight, so she hoped that everything would go well. Laurel said that she won’t be there, but Arthur would be working a few shifts and asked everyone to be gentle with him. She added that they shouldn’t throw any sharp or heavy objects at him.

Arthur went to the kitchen while Laurel and Ray started talking. When he asked her to have a beer, she said that she was in recovery. Ray told her that he had lost friends due to the addiction. They connected over their shared struggles and decided to go on a spontaneous date. However, Jai asked Laurel to drive Archie to a party. It was obvious that she liked Ray.
