The former soap star said that not many people know that Football was banned a long time ago and was brought back in the 1970s. Furthermore, Charley described her character, who has five children and a husband who is at war.
However, the character doesn’t want to get involved in Football first. It is a slow process. Furthermore, the actor spoke about her switch between performing on stage and filming. She said that it is really good and it is a case of adapting. She finished something at the end of last year, and that was filming. Charley added that it is fun to work with an all-female cast.
She added that when one is doing theatre, there is a live reaction, while television is different. The audience is different. It is better to observe their humour.
