Charlotte Bellamy (Laurel Thomas) had a scary accident on set. During a knife scene, the actress got severely injured and ended up in the hospital. Her character, Laurel, currently has a lot on her plate. She recently discovered her husband, Jai Sharma’s, big secret and decided to part ways.
To make matters worse, the upcoming episodes feature Laurel collapsing to the ground. The 51-year-old star shared this dramatic real-life moment on Lorraine. She recounted an incident from years ago on set, mentioning, “I was making a Bolognese, as you do, with a very blunt knife, and I’m chopping, and on the take, I chop the top of my finger off.”
At the time, her character was pretending to be pregnant. She was hurried to the hospital with her pregnancy attire. This caused confusion among the staff as they got more concerned about her fictional baby. During the chat, Bellamy mentioned how surreal dealing with such incidents on set is.
