Laurel Refuses To Help Dylan And Paddy!
The soap fans know that Bear admitted to the police that he killed the drug dealer. He told DS Walsh that he was alone. But she wasn’t convinced. Later, Bear was provoked and told the police authorities that he deliberately killed Ray Walters. This could mean a life sentence for Bear Wolf. Paddy was concerned for his father, so he decided to reveal the truth.
Paddy and Dylan went to the police and told them the truth. They were blamed for perverting the court of justice. Furthermore, in today’s episode, the police informed the Dingles that they may not even get bail and could face a life sentence. They could be saved only if a credible witness came forward to confirm that Bear killed the drug dealer in self-defence.
The witness could be a relief for Bear as well as lessen the severity of the charges faced by Dylan and Paddy. Thus, Mandy and Aaron tried to find the important witness. When Laurel Thomas said that she wished she could help them, they asked her to lie. But Laurel apologised and denied. She said that she wanted to help, but she also has Dotty and Arthur.

Meanwhile, when Arthur learned that his mother had refused to help, he came forward. He met Aaron and Mandy with a proposition. Arthur told them that he would lie to the police. He added that his mother is afraid, but he isn’t. Though Mandy tried to turn him away, he said that there were things they didn’t know.
Arthur said that he was the last person to see Ray. He had a run-in with him after he left the house. He said that he talked to him so he could do this. Arthur added that he wouldn’t be lying.
