However, in June, his health worsened. He had a severe fall at home. Thus, Eric Pollard was rushed to the hospital. The villagers forced him to keep a caretaker after he arrived from the hospital. After rejecting an unsuitable caretaker, Eric let Kerry Wyatt take care of him in exchange for money. Meanwhile, the character’s story took another twist, and his problems worsened.
Eric received a shattering letter from Brenda Walker on his 80th birthday. She wrote that she had rediscovered herself and was beginning a new chapter. But Eric wasn’t a part of it. Eric said that he had mistreated her and thanked her for letting him know it on his birthday. He hoped that Brenda would find happiness.
