Robert Shares His Prison Story!
Robert’s prison story has been surprising the soap fans. However, another element in the soap shocked them again. They saw Faith Dingle in Robert’s flashback episode. The character died in 2022 due to terminal breast cancer. She sadly died at her son, Cain Dingle’s side. The fans were heartbroken. However, she made a surprise return in the recent episode.
The soap fans know that Robert Sugden decided to tell the story of his prison to Aaron Dingle. In the latest episodes, the soap fans visited Robert’s prison scenes. He told Aaron that a week after Robert was guilty of murder, he was moved to the prison on the Isle of Wight.
During the pandemic, he was moved to Hotten Prison. The soap fans also learned that Aaron was attacked in prison. Then Kev stepped in. They were in a relationship. But when Kev found out that he was planning to appeal his sentence, he got anxious and stabbed himself. After that, Robert gave up on the appeal.
Fans Shocked To See Faith’s Return!
But the story took a turn when Faith Dingle visited him in prison, urging him to start an appeal process so that Robron could reunite. Robert decided to go ahead with the appeal, but he told Kev that his sister Victoria has a brain tumour. He needed to go home to support her. However, at the end of the latest installment, when Kev saw Liam in confusion, he learned that his husband had lied to him.
Elsewhere, the soap has shared a video of the flashback episode portraying the meeting of Faith Dingle and Robert Sugden. They posted it on the official account with the caption, Oh my God, it’s Faith. The soap fans and stars were happy.
